Lancar is an offline Indonesian vocabulary trainer. It is built to work entirely on your device.
Lancar does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
Anonymous usage analytics. The app sends which screen you opened (for example "learn" or "drill") to our self-hosted Umami instance at analytics.nextgensoft.co, together with the app version and your device model / OS version. Umami is cookieless and stores no persistent identifier: your IP address is used only to derive an approximate (country/city) location and a short-lived session hash, and is not stored. This data is never shared with third parties and is used only to see which parts of the app are used.
Your learning progress, settings, and the optional display name you may enter during onboarding are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes them.
All content and audio are bundled inside the app; it works offline. The only network connection Lancar makes is the anonymous analytics request described above, and the app works normally without it.
If you use the pronunciation-practice feature, Lancar uses your microphone and on-device speech recognition only to check what you say, on your device. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Lancar contains no objectionable content and collects no personal data, so it is safe for all ages.
